Important Childhood Quote: "It is never to late to have a happy childhood." - Tom Robbins
Children's Book & Why I Love It: The Giving Tree, By: Shel Silverstein; I love this book because it is a very famous book, the author Shel Silverstein tells the story of love between a boy and a tree that is an example of sacrificial love and the importance of "giving", and also the true message of love shines through in this story.
Story About a Child: One story I can give you as an example of a child that touched my heart is when I had to administer CPR on a child that wasn't breathing until the EMS got on scene. As a result of my direct response with the child, the child is still alive today. The child should be about nine years old to date.
Child's Drawing: I chose this child's drawing of a heart and flowers because flowers are a symbol of love and peace, as well as the heart a symbol of love. The picture is also very pretty and colorful. Every child needs love and peace in their lives.
Fuels Passion: Working with all people in general fuels my passion for the early childhood field. I love encouraging, advising, and helping all people, especially who have children.
